FORMAT Competition is pool play followed by an elimination tournament. Minimum 3 matches scheduled where possible but may play 2 or 4 pool matches. Winner of each pool advances. Competition is not graded. Each pool may contain teams from 4 'Levels of Play' selected on Entry. Matches are as follows: 12 minute halves. Half time is 1 min. One timeout per half per team. Pool Play - running clock with clock stopping for timeouts. Ties stand. After Pool Play - ties broken by playing a 3 min overtime, one timeout per team. Elimination Tournament - as pool play + the clock stops on major whistles & referee's direction in last 2 min of 2nd half. Medal Matches - as pool play + the clock stops on major whistles & referee's direction in last min of 1st half and last 3 min of 2nd half and overtime. TEAM SIZE Minimum 7, Maximum 10 in squad. 5 on court RULES & REGULATIONS FIBA as adapted by the Corporate Games. Minimum age to enter Basketball is 16 as of 31 Dec in the Games' year. In Mixed women are not allowed in either key in first half, men in either key in second half. Penalty is - on offence turnover; on defence, if ball is in the air on a shot points count, if not a foul shot and possession. A player is allowed five personal fouls. Free throw on 6th team foul. Sin Bin Policy - if a player receives a Technical or Unsportsmanlike foul they will be substituted out for 3 mins of playing time. A second offence by the same player will result in disqualification from the match. Further offences may result in disqualification form the tournament. Entrants must be at their Sport Venue 45mins before their first scheduled 'Official Start Time' and check in with their Games ID at Sport Venue Control 30mins prior. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit. No Games ID No Competition. Games ID may be checked at check-in or at any time by a Games Official. A person may enter only ONE Basketball Team and represent only ONE Organisation in the Games. Entry is NOT limited to employees. DRESS & UNIFORM Competition balls supplied by Games. Mixed play with size 7 balls. Numbered uniforms of like kind and colour. No pants with pockets and no jewellery including piercings. SCHEDULE Mixed competition - Saturday Men competition - Sunday Where possible pool matches will be scheduled to be completed in one day. The elimination tournament may be later that day or on another day. Before the Final Entry Deadline a preferred start time (Special Request) may be lodged online. See link under 'Organise Your Team'. Requests are not guaranteed. Start Times & Draws will be available from the Games website ONE week before the Games. RESULTS & SCORING Each team must supply a scorer. QUEENSLAND CORPORATE GAMES 22-24 MAY 2026 SQUAD SIZE Minimum 17 Maximum 23 required on Entry TEAM SIZE A drummer plus 14 to 20 paddlers. Min 7 paddlers of each gender. A team forfeits if it does not meet the above criteria. FORMAT Competition is heats followed by semis and final. Teams are scheduled for a min 3 races where possible. Competition is not graded. Each race may contain teams from all 4 ‘Levels of Skill’ as selected at Entry. Heat consists of 3 x 200m sprint format races. Three or four boats progress to the semis. The number of boats in a race may vary. After heats teams are seeded based on aggregate times. Seeding determines lane allocation for Semis and Finals. Finals format may vary. RULES & REGULATIONS QLD DB Rules as adapted for the Corporate Games. See Dragon Boat Competition Rules. Minimum age to enter Dragon Boat is 12 as of 31 Dec in the Games' year. Each person should be able to swim 50m lightly clothed. PFDs are compulsory. Sweeps are allocated by the Games for each race. Drummer may be allocated by the Games, if needed. All entrants MUST be present for the pre-event Team meeting. A team must race in its designated lane. If only one boat starts a scheduled race, the team must paddle the course in order to register a time. A boat finishes the race when the dragon head passes the finish line. Entrants must be at their Sport Venue 45mins before their first scheduled 'Official Start Time' and check in with their Games ID at Sport Venue Control 30mins prior. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit. No Games ID No Competition. Games ID may be checked at check-in or at any time by a Games Official. Click here for more information. UNIFORM & EQUIPMENT Uniforms should be of like kind and colour. Entrants will get wet. Shoes, hat, sunprotection clothing and sunscreen recommended. Boats, paddles and PFDs (personal floation device) are supplied and allocated by the Games for each race. Teams not allowed to use their own paddles. Each Team must be satisfied the boat and equipment are waterworthy and functional before embarking. The Games is not responsible for boat or equipment failure after the boat has left the loading area. TRAINING All entrants MUST attend at least 1 training session, however you are more than welcome to attend additional sessions if desired. Training Sessions are provided by and are the sole responsibility of the club "Te Waka Dragons" (not the Corporate Games). Availability is subject to bookings and final numbers (minimum of 12) must be confirmed by Team Captains no later than 4pm on the Friday prior to the training session. If your numbers fall below minimum, you will still be required to pay for 12; however this is subject to and at the sole discretion of Te Waka Dragons. Training cost is $20 per person per session payable on the day. EFT Payment is preferred (cash will be accepted) and required on or prior to the training session. Team leaders are to collect individual payments and make alump sum payment as individual payments will not be accepted. Tax Invoice/Receipts can be issued upon request. All training sessions will be run from Yowoggera Park - 70 Sandgate Road, Albion (next to the Public Boat ramp & St Margarets Rowing Club). It is imperative that you meet at the Picnic tables, at least 20-30 mins prior to your scheduled booking so all paddlers can be checked in. If your crew members arrive late, then your session will be cut back accordingly. Training sessions will run for approx 30-45 mins (which includes the safety briefing, warmup, on water session and warm down). Appropriate clothing to be worn for training sessions - no jeans, long pants or other heavy clothing (suggest activewear) Footwear (that can get wet) MUST be worn in the boat ie. thongs, crocs,runners, etc Be Sun Smart - Hat, sunscreen etc Bring a water bottle and a change of clothes (as they will get wet) No valuables to be taken on the boat as Te Waka take no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury. Always play to the umpire's whistle. Unlimited rolling substitution applies. A 3 minute injury time occurs in elimination tournament and medal matches only. Size and line markings may be adjusted by the Games. TEAM SIZE Min 8, Max 12 required on Entry. 6 Players on field All entrants must be 30yrs or over as of 31 Dec in the Games' year RULES & REGULATIONS FIFA Rules as adapted for the Corporate Games. Unlimited interchanges are applied. The player must leave the field before the substitute takes the field at half way or the substitute will be cautioned. Referees will be appointed to all matches. No offside rule, so no assist referees used. A goal may be scored from inside the opponent's goal area. Any goal kicks and goalkeeper clearances whether by hand or foot must bounce within that goalkeeper's half. Failure to do so will result in an indirect free kick against that team from the halfway line. Opponents must be at least 5m from the ball at the taking of any free kick, corner kick etc except in the case of a quick free kick where the referee allows the advantage rule to apply. Entrants must be at their Sport Venue 45mins before their first scheduled 'Official Start Time' and check in with their Games ID at Sport Venue Control 30mins prior. FORMAT Lane allocation made at Venue check in. Singles and Team squad results are determined over one 3 game series based on total pinfall plus handicap. Handicap is determined by 90% of the difference between average and 200. Average is calculated from the 3 games bowled upon completion of play. League averages are not applicable. TEAM SIZE 1 x Male RULES & REGULATIONS TBA rules as adapted by the Corporate Games. Late arrivals have until the end of the third frame of the first game to arrive. In the Team event if a player doesn't arrive the 'vacant score' will be used. In the Finals teams using a 'vacant score' will be placed last. Corporate Team consists of any four persons of any gender. All team members must represent the same Organisation. Team competition is squads (qualifying) followed by Finals. Top placed teams from each squad will qualify for the Final. Final may be on a different day than squad (qualifying). Final format is 3 games based on total pinfall plus handicap. Average from qualifying is used to determine handicap. Ties will be broken using the bowling centre's tie breaking system. QUEENSLAND CORPORATE GAMES 22-24 MAY 2026 FORMAT Competition is pool play followed by an elimination tournament. Pool Groupings of 3 where possible but may be pools of 4. Winner of each pool advances to Elimination tournament. Competition is not graded. Each pool may contain teams from 4 'Levels of Play' selected on Entry. Matches are as follows: Pool Play - 1 game to 30 - must win by 2 Elimination Tournament - 1 game to 30 points. Medal Matches - 1 game to 30 points. Warm-up is limited to 3 minutes prior to match start. Entrants must be at their Sport Venue 45mins before their first scheduled 'Official Start Time' and check in with their Games ID at Sport Venue Control 30mins prior. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit. No Games ID No Competition. Games ID may be checked at check-in or at any time by a Games Official. A person may represent only ONE Organisation in the Games. Entry is NOT limited to employees. UNIFORM & EQUIPMENT Shuttlecocks are supplied by the Games Non-marking shoes SCHEDULE Doubles - AM Start Start Times & Draws will be available from the Games website ONE week before the Games. FORMAT Competition is pool play followed by an elimination tournament. Minimum 3 matches scheduled where possible but may play 2 or 4 pool matches. Winner of each pool advances. Competition is not graded. Each pool may contain teams from 4 'Levels of Play' selected on Entry. Matches are as follows: 12 minute halves. Half time is 1 min. One timeout per half per team. Pool Play - running clock with clock stopping for timeouts. Ties stand. After Pool Play - ties broken by playing a 3 min overtime, one timeout per team. Elimination Tournament - as pool play + the clock stops on major whistles & referee's direction in last 2 min of 2nd half. Medal Matches - as pool play + the clock stops on major whistles & referee's direction in last min of 1st half and last 3 min of 2nd half and overtime. TEAM SIZE Minimum 7, Maximum 10 in squad. 5 on court RULES & REGULATIONS FIBA as adapted by the Corporate Games. Minimum age to enter Basketball is 16 as of 31 Dec in the Games' year. In Mixed women are not allowed in either key in first half, men in either key in second half. Penalty is - on offence turnover; on defence, if ball is in the air on a shot points count, if not a foul shot and possession. A player is allowed five personal fouls. Free throw on 6th team foul. Sin Bin Policy - if a player receives a Technical or Unsportsmanlike foul they will be substituted out for 3 mins of playing time. A second offence by the same player will result in disqualification from the match. Further offences may result in disqualification form the tournament. Entrants must be at their Sport Venue 45mins before their first scheduled 'Official Start Time' and check in with their Games ID at Sport Venue Control 30mins prior. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit. No Games ID No Competition. Games ID may be checked at check-in or at any time by a Games Official. A person may enter only ONE Basketball Team and represent only ONE Organisation in the Games. Entry is NOT limited to employees. DRESS & UNIFORM Competition balls supplied by Games. Mixed play with size 7 balls. Numbered uniforms of like kind and colour. No pants with pockets and no jewellery including piercings. SCHEDULE Mixed competition - Saturday Men competition - Sunday Where possible pool matches will be scheduled to be completed in one day. The elimination tournament may be later that day or on another day. Before the Final Entry Deadline a preferred start time (Special Request) may be lodged online. See link under 'Organise Your Team'. Always play to the umpire's whistle. Unlimited rolling substitution applies. A 3 minute injury time occurs in elimination tournament and medal matches only. Entrants must be at their Sport Venue 45mins before their first scheduled 'Official Start Time' and check in with their Games ID at Sport Venue Control 30mins prior. FORMAT Competition is pool play followed by an elimination tournament. Minimum 3 matches scheduled where possible but may play 2 or 4 pool matches. Winner of each pool advances. Competition is not graded. Each pool may contain teams from 4 'Levels of Play' selected on Entry. Matches are as follows: 15 minute halves. No half time. If tied in... Pool Play - ties stand. Elimination Tournament - 'sudden death' penalty kicks. Medal Matches - as per FIFA rules. Field and goal dimensions are approximately half full-size. Failure to do so will result in an indirect free kick against that team from the halfway line. Opponents must be at least 5m from the ball at the taking of any free kick, corner kick etc except in the case of a quick free kick where the referee allows the advantage rule to apply. Entrants must be at their Sport Venue 45mins before their first scheduled 'Official Start Time' and check in with their Games ID at Sport Venue Control 30mins prior. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit. No Games ID No Competition. Games ID may be checked at check-in or at any time by a Games Official. If colours clash, the second named team in the draw will wear Games bibs. All players must wear non-slip footwear and shinpads.
